ALA/ProQuest Scholarship Bash & Ron Clowney Spectrum Scholarship
ProQuest is the major sponsor of this popular ALA Annual event, which funds scholarships for minority library students as part of the American Library Association's Office for Diversity Spectrum Scholarship Program. The scholarships help address the specific issue of under-representation of critically needed ethnic librarians within the profession while serving as a model for ways to bring attention to larger diversity issues in the future. ProQuest also sponsors its own Spectrum Scholarship to honor the life of longtime-employee, Ron Clowney, former Vice President of US Higher Education & Government Sales, who passed away in May 2010.

Graduate Education Program
The ProQuest Graduate Education Program (GEP) is a suite of programs available worldwide to faculty and students in accredited graduate degree programs in library science and related disciplines. It includes complimentary resources that assist information professionals in teaching and mastering competencies in library science, information science, competitive intelligence, and knowledge management. Library Journal Teaching Award
The LJ Teaching Award, sponsored by ProQuest, recognizes excellence in educating the next generation of librarians. The award is bestowed upon an educator who has a record of communicating core principles of librarianship, integration of theory, practice, and research, mentorship, and forward thinking. Library Volunteer Program
The ProQuest Library Volunteer Program was launched in the summer of 2009 in response to the American Library Association's "Summer of Service" initiative. Since then it has become an annual volunteer activity operating under the theme "Live, Learn, Laugh, Love Your Library." The program seeks to promote service to our local communities and fosters positive relationships with our library customers, while providing ProQuest employees with opportunities for leadership development, team-building, and connecting with each other.

Roger K. Summit Scholarship
The Roger K. Summit Scholarship, awarded annually by ProQuest, was established to honor Dr. Roger K. Summit, the founder of Dialog, a ProQuest business, for his outstanding contributions to the field of information science. The award is open to all LIS student worldwide and is awarded to someone has demonstrated outstanding interest or performance in electronic information services.

Ulrich's Serials Librarianship Award
The Ulrich's Serials Librarianship Award, recognizing distinguished contributions to serials, is presented by the Continuing Resources Section of the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS). ALCTS, a division of the American Library Association, is the national association for information providers who work in collection and technical services, such as acquisitions, cataloging, collection development, preservation, and continuing resources in digital and print formats.
